SPECIAL EDUCATION FAMILY LIAISONS
Family Liaisons provide support to families of children with disabilities, 3-21 years of age. They serve as a resource to families, the District, schools, programs and relevant communities and help with the coordination of services for individual students. The Family Liaisons facilitate communication between family, student, school, community or the Division of Student Services. Additionally, they assist parents in navigating the special education system, trouble shoot and help parents problem solve on behalf of their child as they work with school staff. Family Liaisons connect individuals with emergency assistance, school or community resources and empower families to obtain necessary services. The Family Liaisons can be accessed by contacting the Student Services Program Manager for a particular school or program or by calling:
