Mission Statement

Through advocacy and education, we will strive to help each student reach his/her full potential.  In the educational setting, we can do this by:

• Completing thorough and timely evaluations
  
• Adapting instruction an providing materials to meet student needs
  
• Contributing to the school environment by working cooperatively with staff and promoting understanding of visual impairments
  
• Enhancing life skills through transition planning and instruction in daily living skills, recreational activities and Orientation & Mobility
  
• Keeping abreast of district procedures and best practices in our field
  
• Maintaining a continual awareness of our professional responsibilities
